About This Site

Tag: Dino @ 19:39

I’m doing a little housecleaning around my website and figured Arabic needed it as much as anything else. By putting stuff in a blog, it’ll allow me to both find stuff more quickly and notify you fine folks when new material is uploaded.

Everything produced by FSI is in the public domain as a federal government work product, so that will all get posted here. Other materials may be covered under copyright, though using a digital version for educational purposes of items you already own generally constitutes fair use. Just to be safe, registration will be required to access that stuff — and I have to know who you are, m’kay? How about leaving me a comment or shooting and email to after you register if you need more access?

How to get updates? The best way is to subscribe to the RSS feed. I recommend using Google Reader, as it can follow you wherever you go.

A word on copyrights

Portions of this site are password protected to ensure that copyrighted materials are only available to people who can claim fair use under US law. I assert the claim to fair use based on the fact that all people using the materials posted are using them for educational purposes and are current owners of the materials, thereby not harming the rights holder’s market.

Materials produced by employees of the federal government in their official capacity is generally considered to be in the public domain. However, contractors may often enjoy a copyright for materials they produce for the government. I have assumed that materials produced at FSI are in the public domain, but if you are believe you are the copyright holder of any material on this site, please let me know by email.
